Mayfield Falls is a tributary of the Cabarita River in rural Westmoreland, bordering on the parish of Hanover. It is truly a nature lover’s paradise which offers some of the prettiest scenry that Mother nature has to offer. It contains two beautiful waterfalls, 21 natural pools, 52 varieties of ferns, an abundance of exotic tropical flowers and plant species, and several types of birds, butterflies, and indigenous wildlife.
Mayfield Falls is a scenic 1 hour drive from Negril, Jamaica, 1 and half hours from Montego Bay, and only half hour from Lucea. Centrally located in Glenbrook, Westmoreland, where the Dolphin Head Mountains provide a picture-perfect backdrop.

Benta River Falls
Benta River Falls is a family-owned business found in the lush verdant outskirts of Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland. It is located just 44 km from Negril on Jamaica’s west coast or 38km from Montego Bay on Jamaica’s north coast. It is off the beaten track but well worth the effort it takes to get there. It is one of Jamaica’s best kept secrets. This family-friendly attraction features a beautiful river with seven small waterfalls and a breathtaking blue lagoon flowing underneath tall bamboo trees and other tropical plants which filter out the piercing afternoon sunlight to cast a cool viridescent glow over everything.
Guided tours are available at an additional cost, but you don’t really need one. The river is really easy to navigate for even non-swimmers. Climbing on fallen tree trunks or holding onto conveniently placed rope are good guides for everyone.
The activities to do here include getting an all-natural mud bath, cliff diving, climbing the waterfalls, getting an invigorating massage from nature by sitting under the falls. There is also campsite for groups and indivisuals, restauarant and bar are onsite. They are currently developing an option to provide farm tours, showcasing local exotic flowers and fruits are currently in development. The owners have done a good job with ensuring that this gem is well preserved as an attraction for tourists. The flora and vegetation of this region are well maintained. There is an option for a campsite to groups and individuals.
